I was born and raised at ga-Marishane a village in Limpopo Province. I have always known from a very young age that the only thing that will get me out of the village to a city is if I excel at school. I did hence I managed to further my tertiary education in the Western Cape Province.
My first job was at one of the big audit firms and upon completing my articles I started working for a German owned company where I now occupy a position of a Financial Director, I'm a CA(SA) by profession. I achieved all these through commitment, perseverance and mostly self believe.
Education has changed many lives and it will continue to do so for many decades to come. Through education, one sees that not even the sky will limit you and growth is inevitable. I'm proud to be a trustee of Mathari Black Women Owned Trust as it addresses one of the core issues that our country faces, lack of tertiary education funding.
As a citizen of South Africa I want to be counted as one of those who are making a difference more so in a girl child's life. Education has changed my life, it can change yours too.
